Sino Jet 10th Anniversary and New Ambassador Mascots
2021 marks the tenth anniversary of Sino Jet. From a small start-up in the business aviation industry to becoming the renowned industry benchmark, Sino Jet’s legendary transformation will unquestionably go down in the history of business aviation in China. During recent anniversary celebrations in Beijing and Hong Kong, Sino Jet revisits its journey in the past ten years and poises for an even brighter future.
Sino Jet went through three significant stages in its ten-year journey to become a leading management company in China’s business aviation industry. From the first stage of initial establishment, merger and acquisition, and integration, followed by the second stage of rapid growth and development, and finally becoming an international business jet operator; every stage Sino Jet colours an important chapter in its legendary story in the Chinese business aviation world.
Sino Jet was found in 2011, dual headquartered in Beijing and Hong Kong, successively obtained operation and maintenance engineering qualifications issued by several civil aviation authorities around the globe, laying a solid foundation for safety and compliance in operations. In 2013, Sino Jet received a capital injection from the TsingHua Holdings Capital, followed by restructuring of the Beijing and the Hong Kong operations, innovatively began its dual-base operation and launched its wholly owned subsidiary, a private travel agency, GEOSTAR.
In 2015, Sino Jet rebranded with a new logo and market strategy. Since then, its fleet has been growing every year, and Sino Jet has successively established operating bases in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Shenzhen and other major cities. At the same time, Sino Jet has also further integrated more areas of its two major bases in Beijing and Hong Kong, which deeply enhances Sino Jet’s operational merits. Sino Jet then grew to be one of the top business jet management companies in Mainland China with plentiful industry recognitions. In 2019, Sino Jet’s fleet size has grown to over 40, ranked the top of the business jet market in the Asia-Pacific region.
In 2019, Sino Jet opened a new office in Singapore, expanding its international footprints. In terms of safety, Sino Jet was the first in Mainland China to be awarded with the highest safety certification in business aviation, IS-BAO Stage 3. In its ten-year journey, Sino Jet has made numerous remarkable achievements and contributes to the globalisation of business aviation in China. Stepping in another decade to reach for new heights, Sino Jet introduces its new brand ambassadors, two mascots called Mr. Sino and Ms. Promise. The mascots were designed and modeled after traditional Chinese dragons and named after the combination of "Dragon" and "Sino", two key words found in the Sino Jet brand name in Chinese and English. The two mascots are good luck charms to symbolize that Sino Jet will continue to surpass its standards, strive for breakthroughs in safety and operations; and always hold its promises in its service excellence. In Chinese ancient legends, a Chinese dragon soars from the east and brings successes and good fortune to the world. This legend aligns perfectly with Sino Jet’s brand proposition, and hence the mascots are the ideal representation of the Sino Jet brand.
